The football we played in the second half of last season would have seen us comfortably in the top six of the division this year.

Fair play to Martin he even started to make Cabango look like a footballer, you have to give credit to Russ for getting some very ordinary players to play some fantastic football last year.

Sad to see where we are at the moment …directionless without any discernible style of play.

Style is the wrong term.. it's a philosophy, and it exists in every career path, Aristotle, Epicurus.. the basis and start of any university lecture

🤣🤣🤣

Points in second half of last season 34. With Piroe. Only 2 points more than the first half of the season and that’s with some very spawny late results. Full season with that ‘fantastic’ second half form 68. Normal low play off total 75. Way off.

Usual Russbot bullshit.

But…yes, I do think we’d probably be on around 30 points with him. Still be leaking crappy goals and, without Piroe, doing not much up top. We’d probably still have his legacy Fish in goals too.

Clearly forgot we won 2 games in 22 under Russ last year.

Anchors and end bells come to mind every time I read one of your myopic posts….never ever be a legend like me…your too short.

Absolutely…great hair👍

Let's be honest here and as pointed out......its non comparable considering we have lost Piroe and Ntcham and not replaced to a decent calibre.

The issue is the summer recruitment with players and an ill suited manager.

Anyone with sense will see what we need.....A striker, speed on the flank and a creative 10 that has a goal in him.

Whoever oversaw the general replacement of Obafemi and Piroe with Kukharevych and Yates and then proceeded to ignore the departure of our most creative player without a replacement desperately needs removing from his position.

I'd also assume this is the same individual that oversaw an average full back being signed for nearly £3m along with a below par, injury prone full back over 30 on a three year deal.

It's all an absolute shambles.

How is it non comparable? Ntcham went missing most games and Piroe might have been a great finisher but there was more to it than that,or are you another one who’s boxed himself into a corner that he can’t escape from?

This has been the most glaring issue at the club.....we signed 3 left backs!

It's been an absolute shambles with recruitment since January!

And one was because we played against 10 men

But the fans could see there was a plan, that’s why they stuck with him…oh and of course the fist pumps.

Fist pumps only when we won, which wasn’t very often for long periods of time. Otherwise he was using the odd press conference to deflect attention away from himself and to blame others.
