Burnley's new manager may have known him briefly at Man City?

I don't think he's a fit for us. 12 months left on his contract. Would free up another salary.

Have they anyone for a player exchange? 😀

I do like him he came on great when given a chance, I’d keep him around unless we got a stupid 1M offer.

Bloody hell that’s a shock. But as someone J_B said Kompany would probably know him from his time at city.

If they are serious we'd take that. Year left on his contract not one who shouts at you thinking why haven't we given him an extension.

Interesting one. Would have driven him there myself before January but towards the tail end of the season he started to look like he was improving at a rate of knots.

Depends who we have our eye on really and whether they can come in and hit the ground running.

If Martin is thinking of 433 then Lati isn’t the answer at CB; too small and too slow.

I assume the £500k isn’t cash up front and is a structured deal, I also assume we will owe Man City a portion of whatever we receive.

Let’s make it a million up front and they can have their man.

We've got to take that, we might actually sign someone for 200k then!

Yes, hopefully someone with a name our fans can spell and Wyndham can pronounce

If Kompany reckons he's good I wouldn't read much into that, he's been awful in management so far. Taking Anderlecht from usual winner or runner up of the Belgian league to be the second best team in Brussels this season just gone! Judging by the amount he's prepared to spend on Lati, I wouldn't be surprised he'll take them out of business. By appointing Kompany, it seems Burnley have decided to fight mounting debts with big spending. A risky strategy for a club without a proven safe par of hands at the helm.

When we had that little improvement in form in the last third of the season it coincided with him coming in to the side. Something if an unsung hero.
