£400,000 we mugged them.

I speak as someone who cannot forgive Martin for the way he organized the defence, good players doomed to disgrace by his folly. So what a result from the Board! Got rid of him, and got someone to *pay* to take him off their hands.

Now I will just worry about who they pick as his replacement. Luckily I know I lack the skills to judge who would actually be good. I'm not alone here with that.

I say this without a hint of bitterness he won't be missed, hope he takes all his backroom staff with him, especially the set piece coach, perhaps Southampton can see something we never did, either way, he's not our problem anymore, we have bigger issues to worry about...

Me too. Pump away JB, pump away.

I dn't care whether he falls on his arse at Soton or takes them into Europe, I'm just glad no more of the self obsessed bullshit for us, on and off the pitch.

So Russell is worth as much as a dodgy keeper then? Sounds about right. ;)

Set piece coach went ages ago.

Can he take Fisher with him?
On a serious note, and this is an honest opinion.. they can have him.
If they think that a manager who got us to 15th and 10th can get them back up at the first attempt, then good on them.

Southampton will now forever be one of my favourite teams.
Let the ''process begin''.
I hope his adoring fans in the East sing his name when he returns.
They do ''love him more than he will know''.

The story will be he wanted to stay but he was forced out 🤣🤣🤣. Just like the Cooperwhangs. Nailed on.

I backed him massively for ages, but in the end that huge run of games where he massively fucked up done it for me, seems a decent guy talks a good game, he wouldn’t have turned down Southampton even if his relationship was rosey with the board let’s face it closer to his Brighton and parachute payments he would have always left, we move on like we’ve always done, let’s look forward to the future and the upcoming season, there’s a lot of stuff happening and for me it all seems positive, starting with the appointment of Watson from Luton.
