Morgan Whittaker is another one of those players that looks set for a Swansea City exit this summer.   For many it is probably surprising that he is still here given the club’s clear desire to sell the player back in January. Whittaker has never really settled to a run of appearances here in Swansea...

Can't see Plymouth coughing up the 2/3 mill we want

Not unless we keep hold of piroe.
If Piroe goes were already going to need to find 4 players I'd say and a forward player for sure. If Morgan goes thats 2 forward players.
However if piroe is here deadline day, they might let him go then. That's my prediction at least

I have it on good authority Morgan’s having a medical at HP on Monday very reliable source.

Taken from the Plymouth forum.

Taken from same forum - Swans need cash and also we have been watching to much crap if we think we could get £15 mill for Piroe and Whittaker. They also seem to think they are better off financially.
I do see him ending up there though.

He has been a rubbish signing for us should have let him go to Rangers in hindsight.
Did nothing in January when he came back Derby fans warned us about his attitude and they were right.

They think they are better off financially than us? Dreamworld. Schumacher said himself they had lowest budget in league.

Very well run club are Plymouth but when you are talking with them looking at players rated 2M and above then it's a different level for them.
If its talk of Burton plus cash for Whittaker then they are still handing us over 1M.........maybe a straight swap with their main keeper Cooper and we could be in business but he is injured currently.

Yeah, a good club Plymouth, with decent support, but minted they are not.

Not heard any of the player plus cash stories though, wouldn’t be a bad shout as Whittaker doesn’t seem the type of player Duff will fancy.

Surely we could do better than having Plymouths back up keeper in a part ex? I think that was just a suggestion by a Plymouth supporter on their site rather than actually happening.

God knows, not seen or heard any of it, just surprised Plymouth have the kind of cash we would want for him.

I thought we were going for that youngster Carl Rushworth? not that I know anything about him.

We've been linked to that Burton before, I think he is Welsh, but he very much is a number 2 keeper.

If he's part of the deal the discount I'd hope would be very minimal.

Wasn't the papertalk a few months back and in January wanted him for about 2.5/3mill?

I'd be gutted if he goes for anything less than 2mill.
