• We have today (22nd April) confirmed the closure of JackArmy.net on 31st May. Our reasons are varied but after a twenty-five year stint at the heart of the online Swansea City community, the time is right for us to bow out. Any club initiative that tries to improve fan experience is good, I think they travel fairly well don’t they the owls? So keeping that amount of tickets aside is probably something that’s been suggested by fans and taken on board, I suppose it’s dependant on interest really and physical numbers, but certainly not a bad idea, I see a few posters on here that are located around the country so could be of benefit to a small group.

Yes we do have supporters around Britain who, due to cost of travel and time, don't get to many home games, so would increase the chance of seeing the game on their doorstep

There are-fortunately most of the away games near me in recent years have big capacities-Stoke, Burnley, Preston, Blackburn so not really been much of a problem-even in the PL days was generally fine.

Pretty restrictive terms I reckon. Must have a certain number of points already (unlikely if they've been struggling to go to games already) and live within 45 minutes of the stadium. It'd be no use to someone living in Pembs!

I've no idea how it's going down with their fans. I know many of their homers are thoroughly pissed off with their owner/regime already. They're being taken for mugs with ticket prices for Cat A games close to £60.
