Broad and Anderson in - just the one recognised spinner (although clearly Root is a more than good option)

First over, one ball head high to wicketkeeper another bounces before it reaches him. 🤭

I love Root, top player/bloke n skipper. But be interesting to hear reason behind deciding to bat.

Oh dear,dear,dear,dear,dear,dear.
Never mind, we picked all our best spinners this time!

Interesting you say "we" there MS!

For me, when England do well, it's "us". On the other hand, aren't "they" in trouble today, eh? I'm childish like that, and really need to grow up!

Ps I don't think we'll get "our" full 5 days entertainment, sadly.

Edit: be lucky to see 3 at this rate.

Yes, that's, the way to play the Indian spin attack, either rock back on the back foot, or better still, just stay rooted to the spot 👏👏👏👏

Three wickets there to a spinner and not one of the balls actually spun at all. The demons from the last test are still planted firmly in their heads.

Is it just me, or does anyone find the Indian keeper an annoying little cvnt?

England pick a team to put the Indian batsmen under pressure from their much vaunted seamers, using the pink ball and under lights, BUT not on the first fvcking day when England are batting first.

The England batsmen are being continually bamboozled by the straight ball. A total fvcking shambles.

Some tail when you've got Archer at 8 and Leach at 9.

It’s only cricket I say “we” when England are involved, any other time it’s very different.
