Why didn't Manning's team mates go steaming in after he got sent skywards?
Patterson made a limp wristed attempt at a protest and got swatted away by one of Lansburys teammates, but absolutely no-one else came in...
More of a front up by his muckas would have got Lansburys a deserved straight red, basically his fellow pros bottled it.

I thought the same. The entire team should have been poling in.

I have only seen the footage from one angle, but maybe (just maybe) most players had their backs turned and missed it? Either way I’m glad no one came steaming in because you just know it would have been one of ours who ends up with a red card.

This, unfortunately

Although I was hoping that the manager might have tasked somebody to snap the c's legs, 5 mins before the end, if the game was out of sight. :)

I would hope they didn't have their backs turned, because that's how you get caught out by a quick free kick.

The OP is right, most of the team should have charged over showing their anger. It's easy to do without getting in trouble, come racing over and then stop right before Lansbury, giving him plenty of verbals but not touching him. He or one of his teammates probably pushes one of our players, meaning we can do the same at that point.

It would have put extra pressure on the ref to deal with the initial offence properly and even the chance of getting Lansbury sent off would have been worth the risk of a yellow card for one of ours. We're still not streetwise and in some ways I like that, but it does cost us at times.

I was listening to Radio Wales and they didn’t (or chose not to) see they incident. They said there was no monitor for them to see a replay, so I didn’t know what had happened until I saw it on PS. 🙄

Does their player take his eyes off the ball?

Does Manning kick the ball just before their player attempts to kick it?

One of those incidents where you ask 100 neutral football fans is it a red, and you will get different answers.

One side will claim it was a terrible foul and a red card
The other that it was Manning's fault for walking in front of him and even a yellow was harsh

If that had been Manning on Landsbury and you asked 100 Swans supporters we would have said it was a red card.

Does the player take his eye off the ball? Did he not see a 6 foot lump a yard in front of him?
Does Manning kick the ball? Yes, he got booked for it unlike the numerous Luton players who did the same throughout the game. Does he then get kick hard enough to sweep his legs away? Yes, have the Luton player hit the ball it would it would have landed in the car park.
Any excuse or apology for the vicious foul is a disgrace.
Independent people are asking one question, 'How in the wide, wide world was this not a straight red card?'

If that had been done at our place, the fckn stewards would have thrown him out.

It wouldn't have got that far if the ref was in control, pathetic. Henri should have been sent off, manning booked for time wasting.imho.
