To both leave according to Stu James.

<< Cooper fought hard to keep his captain Matt Grimes at the Liberty Stadium last year, but it would be futile for anybody to try to do the same again. Swansea need the money and the time has come for the midfielder to move on. Grimes will leave this summer and there is every chance that Connor Roberts will follow him, despite currently being injured. >>

Grimes is about to become a father so any move will have been in the pipeline for some time, maybe back down south coast. Can’t see Connor going anywhere.

We’ll miss grimes but I reckon he’ll flop elsewhere, like he did at Leeds.

Depends on the price for Grimes. If the cost of adding a bit of flair and creativity to our midfield (basically everything Cooper squeezed out of it) is Grimes then maybe it's worth considering.

Roberts would be an interesting one. A much better WB than FB, ultimately who is going to pay top dollar for a niche player? Will Cooper's replacement even use wingbacks at all?

Not sure how much more Grimes will improve, hope we cash in 8m at least. Knowing the club though we will settle for 3 if that's what's needed to balance the books

Apparantly the replacement uses no defenders all plays 7 attacking midfielders and 3 strikers

Is it this guy?

No surprise they are touted to be sold. It was mentioned just after we lost the playoff final. We only have 3 saleable assets if you add Ben.

That won’t work. I’ll never be able to type his name on a Saturday night after a few shandies.

Any manager who has knuts gets my vote

I feel that Grimes has a bit more to his game that he can unlock, he proved a few times last season that he has a missile of a left foot and just needs a manager who will give him the freedom to be able to attack as well as the confidence to not only look sideways and backwards and recycle possession.
