Can’t see us spending over a mill surely?

At a guess if we did then it certainly suggests Grimes is off unless of course we have bigger budgets than we imagine as part of the Martin deal?

There's no way we're loaning 2 man utd players and signing this guy without anyone leaving

"Injury hit last season" - hope we have good medical staff these days, seems to be almost a pre-requisite these days šŸ˜šŸ˜‚

It's the way we shop nowadays, the "slightly damaged goods aisle" at Aldi if you like, you know the 56" flat screen has got a nasty crack top left of the screen, chances are it will get worse, but it's only a quarter of the price, what's not to like eh... šŸ˜‰

I don’t think it was anything out of the ordinary. He missed some games at the start after halving his head turned by PL interest last summer. But I don’t think there were any significant injury issues. Played all of the 2nd half of the season.

He’s not a Grimes replacement. More like Jay - gets stuck in and a bit of aggression about him. He was probably their best player when we last played them (a while ago now though).

One of Martin’s staff Gill had him at Ipswich and has been quoted in saying how good he is.

Grimes replacement.

Apparently a nasty streak in him.

Aye, looks like he had a knee injury on 3rd October that was expected to keep him out for 2 months, but he next played 3 months later. After that, seems like he was an ever-present. Much prefer to see one injury that kept him out for a chunk of time rather than lots of injuries that add up to a lot of accumulated time out.

Doesn't seem like much of an injury history at all, hardly reason to label him injury-prone or to throw toys out of the pram that we're only signing perma-crocked players.

I think both of you may have missed the tongue in cheek element of the post ;)

No toys out of the pram here although not speaking for everyone :o
