Thanks for that. Some great names there, a little too early for my appreciation as I would only have been a prog rock fan at that time, but would be first in the queue if it had been today.
I think that jazz and rock are quite closely related in that both tend to have improvised solos around a main theme (riff), and so many of the rock “greats” have a jazz background.
