I’m not criticising the man at all and I honestly couldn’t give a f*ck where we finish as long as it’s not in the relegation zone but I’m not understanding why an unproven manager is getting cut so much slack by a lot of our fans.
Yes I completely get people being supportive but it’s not what I’d normally expect from Swansea fans looking at our goals scored, points and league position.
Yes I understand it’s early days and he needs time and we need to be patient but there’s something I’m not getting.

For my money, Lowe, as irritating as he could be, would be an infinitely superior option to Cullen, Whittaker or Paterson ( or Smith ffs) in an attacking role for us right now.

Now that’s a fact.

100%.. especially when the manager comes out with "we went toe to toe with the best side in the division" which is all fairy stories.. I like a manager with a bit of delusion in him, but say it as it is, is it

Especially after losing 3-1.

Unfortunately for him, and maybe us (still don’t really know) he will run out of road constantly defending himself with patent bullshit. If he calls it how it is and is realistic, he is far more likely to get the same in return. I fear he’ll be “delighted” again tonight with one point against a side that offered nothing.

He’s saying this evening that there are players queuing up to join us in January which is interesting seeing as it’s the second day of October and players want to join us in January.
Why aren’t they currently happy playing for their current clubs?

I think people on both “sides” need to chill the f*ck out a bit. We’re neither steamrolling towards oblivion nor reinventing the game of football itself. We’ve got a new manager, a new squad doing new things. Everyone needs to stop pretending everything’s wonderful or everything’s terrible. It’s neither.

I agree but if we lose to Cardiff in a fortnight and find ourselves in the bottom three I think people will be a lot less forgiving!

Ya reckon.

I enjoyed the first half today, should have gone in at half time at least a goal up.

What frustrates me is that we seem reluctant to have a strike at goal from outside the box.

We were lucky not to lose it in the second half with Derby having two glaring chances, having said that Cullen should have wrapped up the 3 points late on.

We've got a sprinkling of quality in the squad when it's fit but basically we've still got a weak squad as I see it.
