Shapeless, aimless, gutless.
Was I expecting anything else? No.
Naughton and Smith are full backs playing at CB. Rodon looks like he needs a month to up his pace.
White, Fulton and Grimes haven't turned up.
Bidwell has no skill and Routledge isn't a wing back.
Lowe look like he's too heavy to get off the ground and Ayew is trying too hard.
I'm not going to mention our future England goalkeeper.
Stats
shots
Newport 9 Swansea 1
Swans not looking as if we have a hope of scoring.

The football we play a lot of the time is utterly depressing but Cooper will be here to stay for a good few years unless a) we are in the relegation zone for much of the season or b) another team poaches Cooper (unlikely).

Fair play though, the league season hasn't even started yet.

I don't disagree that a change in management is probably needed. 8-)

He's just perfect for us at the moment...by 'us' I mean the Americans/upper management. A fairly cheap appointment, knows a lot of young talent from his England days (and therefore mostly free loans), has proven that he can keep us ticking over at least around mid-table while the cut-backs are made.

Massively boring for us who actually watch the football though.

The new signings looked terrible.

Ayew the only one that looks like an actually footballer out there. Peterson the best if the bunch when he came on.

An easy afternoon for Newpaaaart.

A particular low to kick off the season. I wonder what the bug-eyed twat will have say about it. He’ll no doubt blame the players.

Warning signs were there in the friendlies

We are in a bad way

No shit Sherlock

"I think in simple terms, the non-negotiables of football, we were second best at today. When you do that, you always make it difficult for yourselves and that's what we did. S. Cooper

Anyone actually worked out what this guy's non negotiables are
