Very traditionalist here - my cooking once again - Turkey and all the trimmings!

Most prob the same Christmas day, but I am fancying getting some beef or lamb this year. It's all dependant how much room is in the oven, or the missis can accommodate that. Yeah. she cooks it.

It's obvious the missis cooks it, especially when you've had a few sherbets on here

I normally do the meat on Christmas Eve as it makes Christmas Day much less hectic.

Don’t forget the bread sauce, guys. I don’t know many folk that like it, your white meat will be so much better with it.

Now then a few years ago my mum who is partially sighted was scouring the house for her bulb lit battery powered magnifying glass on Xmas day that had inexplicably disappeared. Hours we searched with no success. It was only when I exclaimed I could detect a quite rancid smell emanating from the oven did we discover it had been stuffed up the old bird along with the giblets. The only vegetarian chrimbo dinner I’ve ever had that was!

Turkey and ham for us as well.

My Mrs does the gravy, I always turn down a second slice.

I'll have a few drinks in the evening perhaps, watching tv, although I have taken a peek at the tv magazine, and doesn't look a lot on.
