• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I'm not a fan of this type of programme if I'm honest. Let it go through the courts, then we'll see.

Careful, you'll have some knuckle dragger calling you a Karen because they've got nothing else to say...

Was shocked to hear about Russell Brand.
I had no idea he was a comedian.

Brand is vile.

The worst thing about this being reported now is that it's giving him time to build an "alternative" audience who will join him on blaming this on the mainstream media, whereas it is actually the mainstream media that has sat on these allegations for years and did nothing about it. In fact on one show he apparently worked with an exclusively male staff due to his behaviour. Had those making these allegations been supported at the time they were made Brand could be banged up now.

This is no more of a mainstream media conspiracy than Saville, Schofield or Huw Edwards.

It’s incredible seeing the very people who were shouting about the Saville case and the BBC, are now falling over each other to scream foul play on Brand and how it’s now a witch-hunt on the poor fellow.

You know the types I’m on about, you can find them huddled under the same rocks, discussing things like Covid, migrants, Trump, Mason Greenwood, Steven Yaxley etc etc.

Was going to be the crux of the post I was about to make. Brand is about as funny as peritonitis.

"Innocent until proven guilty"..... Crown court witnesses can truly have an explosive verdict influencing effect, whether that be for the prosecution or defense. Like a trial at Swansea Guildhall crown court where a witness for the defense became the biggest own goal ever. The look on the jurors faces was an absolute picture!

The senior ‘team’ assembled just inside the entrance glass panel key pad partition exit/entrance point by the coroners court (its door only a few feet away) joked that the coroners court may soon be needed, because the accused might try to throw himself from the steel flight of steps that were (still are?) at the rear. LOL!!!!

The coroners office is a few feet to the right of the main entrance door, past the reinforced key pad number entry security barrier as you enter from outside in the opposite direction from Victoria Park entrance. The rear flight of steps are the opposite side of the main entrance and to the left if you enter from under the police escort/prisoner sweatbox entrance archway.

I'm with ecb here. I have no clue what you are on about, nor how what you have written is relevant to anything else in this thread. Are you on the right forum?

You do realise that the guildhall isn't the crown court and hasn't been for a long time?
