Cooper seems very reluctant to make changes in his side this season? Lack of options definitely but would you make changes for the game on Tuesday

For me the midfield is all too similar to each other - none of Grimes, Smith or Fulton have that attacking intent of a MGW.

Cullen to start up front and how about Ayew in an advanced role in midfield to support him when needed?

Go for the jugular. Shit record against Stoke in the Championship and they'll pick us off like they did twice last season. Unless we take the lead to which we'll sit back and hope for the best. I'd say it's time we used the surprise element and went back to four at the back, even if just for home games.

Ayew - Smith - Grimes - Manning
Lowe
Cullen

Started thinking of how we can set up and noticed a dearth of widemen, sad times

This season especially a strong squad with depth is going to be invaluable... I actually think our squad (bar strikers) we have strong back up in most positions.

I’d consider giving Ryan Manning, Routledge and maybe even Dhanda a run out on Tuesday.

I'd like to see Palmer start because from the little I've seen of him he's a bit different to our other midfielders.
Looking at the QPR forum they didn't really rate Manning as a full back in a 4, far better going forward & more suited to a wing back role. I don't think Bidwell deserves to be left out to be fair.

I just think there’s so many games we need a rotation... it’s not being dropped... just rested for a game

We need a midfield without Grimes in it. Just once to see what happens. Just for the sake of our sanity.

Whatever team cooper picks I hope they are prepared for a battle as stoke are a proper tough championship team.

And to get Roberts to wind that cunt of a man McLean up and get him sent off.

Woodman.
Cabango. Bennet. Guehi
Roberts. Bidewell
Palmer. Fulton. Grimes
Ayew. Gyokres

Maybe but by the sounds of it we'll need to keep the same formation rather than the back 4 suggested earlier in the thread

When you are playing as many games in as short a time as we are at the moment - rotation is essential

Swap Lowe for Ayew?

No thanks, I know he scored a great goal against Bristol, but his overall game is pretty poor.
