Was just about to post this. I’ve thought the bubble would burst for 15-20 years now but it seems to be getting ‘worse’ by the season and shows no sign of changing anytime soon.

Indeed. Also shows why despite what we may hope, Vipotnik and Galbraith will certainly be available if a club makes us a good enough offer for either of them.

Its easy to see why the new ownership want to make significant efforts to improve our revenue streams which is amongst the lowest in the division which considering recent club history is pretty far from sustainable and a damning indictment of the stewardship of the previous ownership.

Galbraith's injury will hopefully damp down summer interest - as I really want him to stay. I like Vipotnik too - and we did great to extend his contract - BUT
With Idah already here - I would absolutely cash in on Vip in the summer to provide the resources to balance the books and invest. IMO he does not have the pace for the very top level -and his stock will never be higher. Additionally his lack of explosive pace hinders the press that Matos values so highly.

Championship finances are wild—honestly, it’s крутяк how much money and risk are involved at that level, with clubs spending big just for a shot at promotion. The financial gap between divisions makes it intense, so every decision feels high-stakes and dramatic.

A total of £3bn and counting. That is how much Championship clubs have lost in the past 10 years.

To put it into perspective, for that amount you could buy a pie and a pint at a game 300 million times over.

Glad they dumbed the numbers down for football fans to understand.
