Duff desperately needs a proper grown up at the heart of our shaky spine.

Cabungle at fault yet again.
Always plays leaden on his heels, and way too slow to act. Schoolboy stuff - the mantra is always play up on your toes, go meet the ball, esp in your own box. FFS.

A proper liability and I’m expecting Duff to act, ‘prompto’.

And tops it all by doing a Renato on the 90th minute, ffs. Says it all.

Need a LCB in. Sure there’s one in the works though 😏😏

As last season proved they're all better in a back four where they can keep things simple.

This!

Players we have, back 4 the only option

Yeah but would prefer Duff gets his man to make his system work, and play the more progressive wide pacy game, built on a solid dependable foundation.

We really don’t now deserve to be hampered with Martin’s baggage - esp at the heart of our spine.

Today said it all.

Wood and Cabango are basically no frills defenders, not the best, not the worst at Championship level.

A creative midfielder away from a half decent team...

"Just sign that one player to make it work" is the line of thinking that bought Martin a lot of time and forgiveness for things he eventually had to fix with shape and tactics despite spending millions on his picks.

C’mon Jasp - the bloke clearly needs a seasoned CB.
Our weakest link by some distance.

Steve Cook from Forest would have been a good signing I think massive experience and a good player, think he’s in talks with another club though.

Yeah don’t mind that, I just think at the moment we don’t have the athleticism and pace to play three at the back. If we got a premier league Guehi type character to shore us up, my opinion could change!

Innit. Wasn’t Darling supposed to be the ball playing centre half when we signed him?

Wood and Cabango are incapable of doing anything other than defending which for the most part they do pretty well.

You’re right, poor form.
(But pretty sure I stole it from Monny - defo a Monnyism)

Nope. You’re on your own here Andy.
