I remember going to Oxford City way back in ‘68 I think it was in the FA Cup. Took forever to get there in those days and not a very nice set of Oxford supporters to greet us. Chased us away from the ground with knives at the end of the game.

We played them twice, not sure if it was two season in a row. First one we won 3-2 second one we won 5-1 ? The second game was interesting to say the least. Going off most of the game behind one of the goals. Luckily I was down the other end and parked close to the ground.

Thanks Phil.. I was at both. Can't remember any problems at the first game but the word was Oxford Utd fans came to the second for one reason only.

Football has changed, knocking out Doncaster away to draw Arsenal at the Vetch. Now how many times have we played them.

Different views to games now. We've achieved so much, but so much bad taste.
