• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Latibeaudiere, Bidwell and now Grimes.

And a manager who was on loan with us.

;)
A great club servant. What of America with this asset stripping and grabbing like greedy bastards we always tell to get out of our club taking your false promises about dollars like fugitives from Justice.

The decay behind closed doors is rearing it's ugly head . First LW pimping himself to WBA, gutless showings by all concerned on the pitch now this. Maybe problems with Grimes/Luke coming to a head.
What all this proves is the shitshow being put on show by Coleman and the manager.
Fckn amateurs masquerading in pro sport.

I don't begrudge Grimes for wanting to test himself at a higher level. If he genuinely believes Coventry, and playing under Lampard, allows him to do that, and they are willing to meet the Club's demands on price, then I will wish him all the best up there. He needs to think about his career, his future and his family, and if there is more money on offer, he would be a moron to say no (especially given he turned down a big-mone move to Fulham in the past).

As a wider point, Grimes is a marmite player, but whatever you think about him, we are just over a week away from the end of the transfer window and we are coming out of the other side with a weaker team.

We're patently a club in decline, and I am afraid we just do not have the experience and nous at exec-level to steer the ship away from disaster at the moment. As some have remarked on here, Coleman is a nice guy, and I can't question his commitment uprooting his entire life and moving to Swansea, but when you have your back against a wall, you have to have people around you who know how to punch back and who have the experience of getting out of the downward spiral. I don't think any of the tech/financial services millionaires who have purchased our club have that experience, sadly.

Let's hope we can start grinding out some wins on the pitch over the next few weeks to give us the breathing space to avoid a relegation scrap, because we are certainly not getting the new players we so desperately need this January in my opinion...

You can see him signing for the Sky Blues and having a stormer against us next Saturday - playing attacking midfielder and not dropping back to Centre Half once.
Playing in the gap vacated by us selling him.

Only us.

If he does go this week, I'm 100% positive he wouldn't be allowed to play against us.

The question I’ve asked myself is does he play to his own instructions ie coming deep or is it on instructions of the management ie notably Russ or Williams?
I don’t recall him playing this deep under Potter or Cooper.
