• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I would rather see Yates, Cullen and Kuharevych moved on this summer and opportunies given to Kyrell Wilson and Josh Thomas to see if they are able to step up
Cullen just signed not long ago, can't see him going but I think it's time. Mykola I would like to see him given chance but he will move on as well as Yates. Wilson defo needs to have opportunity.

Yates more than good enough to come off the bench, should be kept for depth imo

Mr Wales started today but looks to have been taken off at half time.

Reading loads on here and on twitter saying he’s been brought in to play winger, surely he’ll be playing up top. We are short there and need improvement, I reckon we’ll be in market for main #9 with Bobby being an impact player.

Most reports suggest that he's not an out and out central striker, but more of a "forward" in that he often drifts wide and cuts in from there. Maybe we're looking at playing a 4-3-3 more often?

Its a crazy and random thought, but with how heavily loaded we are now on forward players I wonder how much thought would go into a more attacking focused 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 formation

Of course we have far too few defenders at the moment for this as it stands but Sheehan has utilised 3 centre halves previously (against Leeds and Derby)

I've watched as much video as I can find on Bobby. All the positions he is in on the videos is middle of the pitch outside or inside the box either as a front 2 or a 9 with a 10.

Very little of his videos show him playing winger. So Bobby is earmarked to compete for the 9 and 10 slots I think

As an additional bit of info, I did look up the Kilmarnock team sheet for their game on the weekend on the BBC site and I noted he was starting out wide in a 442 (think it was on the left). Now, whether that BBC line up corresponded with reality I don't know, but he wasn't playing up front in it.

Out of curiosity I just looked it up again and I am either going mad/thick as a bag of mince or it changed, as he's showing up being up front:

So ignore, me, I'll go and climb back under my rock

Ive found those bbc line ups to be far from accurate. Not saying he wasnt playing on the wing but bbc line ups are notoriously bad
