Just going on record to say we were very good today.

Played the whole game in the Hull half. They’re a typical park the bus side that will score one on the counter, a ‘making up the numbers’ type side. We probably would have let them out and lost that under the last manager.

We’ll play better sides and win this season. Not worried at all, pure class has been added in Ntcham, and Piroe, Williams, Downes - all class. We are better than last year.

spot on itch, people jsut love a facking moan, the misersble cunts. we are a good side with good young players and will only get better - comfortably mid table this year

Agreed, tho minor point we looked bit toothless in front of goal. Guy behind shouted..' Jean Slater could score fckn quicker than us!'.
Had to laugh.

No excuses, we didn’t score, but I’m very surprised that teams still play the way Hull played today. They had only one ambition and it wasn’t playing football - very difficult for any team to carve out clear chances against that lot this season.

I agree too. Although we do need to find the balance with the possession as we definitely did not ask enough questions of them in the second half.

We have to start looking to find Piroe at feet earlier. Especially when he had someone next to him like Obafemi who will be looking to play off with some quick passing.

Pass and move without enough move at the moment

We simply are still not creating enough. Football is better, passing is good but the players need to look for space - a couple were doing that but it wasn't happening all over.

The game was definitely better, I didn't feel bored as I would have been under Cooper but I didn't leave purring about pure football.

A positive step in the right direction. Not the finished article, but you can’t go from Cooperball to total football in one step.

This ^

It's the first game back after the international break and after having 10 days with the new signings.

We get better and not every team will come to the liberty and park the bus, plus we will be more dangerous away from home.

The future is bright with RM and I for one am confident we will start to move gradually up the table.

We still need to move it quicker and with more purpose. Grimes and Downs playing the same role and at times getting in each other’s way so for me, the midfield balance still isn’t right.

It will come but we’ll have to be patient.

I thought we did ok but we look very static.

We need more (direct) movement from the ball carrier or a supporting player.
