I’ll be first - we should keep him.

I know I’m in a minority here with my history of supporting unloved players but we should be trying to keep Andre next year. I got scoffed at for saying he should be captain, I didn’t really mean it as I’m also a fan of the much maligned Grimes, but Andre is a talisman in the truest sense - probably the biggest since Trundle.

He should stay, and he’s making all the right noises for me.

Can’t see him staying next season if we don’t go up, he’s given us 2 seasons in the Championship, but he’s on a winner either way promotion with us sign a new deal play Premier League football in a club he loves, or we fail to get promoted and he leaves knowing he gave his all and recieve a nice sign on fee elsewhere.

Assuming that we don't go up then 1) how much do you think we would consider paying him, 2) how much would you think he's worth paying?

Different story altogether if we make it through the play off's and I will expect to see a one year extension within days of the final.

We'd have been nowhere near the playoffs in either of the last two seasons without him. I'll never not find it odd that a player so absolutely vital to our ambitions is held in such low regard in certain quarters.

It's unlikely that he'll stick around next season as he's probably got one more big contract left in him (Middle East maybe) but if a deal acceptable to both parties can be struck we'd be stupid to not try and keep him around.

It's an interesting one..if we go up I think he'll stay.
If we don't, he's off.

I don’t know what we should pay him. Obviously any offer should be linked to the league we are in, it’s up to him then.

Obviously a wages thing but if it’s possible it is a no-brainer. Without doubt buys us 5 or 6 places in the league at least.

Sadly, as Winston says, I feel that he’s got one more big contract left in him and will probably move to the middle-East for it. Can’t really begrudge him of it given his service over the last few years either.

Moving to the Prem changes everything of course.

I would love to see him stay but promoted or not I can see him taking a big payday somewhere else
Best wishes to him, just hope he goes out with a final flourish

We had some real misfortune with signings and that made the task harder for Andre. Had our signings gone better we may well be already up. If we go up he stays, down he goes. Steve would benefit from Andre being in the squad.

No one has bought him in 3 years....not sure why everyone just assumes clubs will come in for him in the summer? He's a great player at Championship level. But as we saw when we got relegated - he seemed out of his depth most games - too slow for the Prem IMO.

Ayew could get a 3 year contract somewhere else on decent wages somewhere in Europe.. would we commit to that ?

If we go up - possibly yes
If we don’t go up - definitely not

There are lots of bang average players in the PL.
Ayew could still do a job there for us or someone else in the PL

Very good player for us in the championship, and if we go up we should try and keep him. Saying that, we should not have resigned him from west ham.

Whether we want him to stay or not in the event we stay down, the owners won’t pay him anywhere near what he could likely get elsewhere so he’ll be gone. It really will be that simple.
