• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Not sure it would be 'Williams supporters' as such, but there will be people who see the quality of the squad provided to him and the general mismanagement of the club over the past few years as more of a factor in our malaise than he personally is.

I think that's all the difference is. I don't think there are many out there thinking he's the next big thing in management.

I think if and when he gets fired, the reaction from 95% of the fans will be a mixture of 'good' and 'meh' and only a handful of 'oh no!'
As much as I said you could argue each manager we appoint is worse than the last, that goes hand in hand with the argument that each manager is handed an inferior squad thanks to our poor recruitment.

We can't sack the owners or sell all the players though, so the manager carries the can. I do think the likes of Ronald, EOM and Vipotnik deserve a chance to play under a manager who at least plays them in a way that could suit them better. There's a good chance things just continue to decline though, unless we hit on the right manager.

Exsactly. We can't sack the owner. We cant get rid of the whole team. So a manger will at least hopefully help. It has too. I have written many times on this forum, but my feeling is if he hasn't gone today or if we lose on Saturday. And he doesn't go. Then we are stuck with him.

Particularly around Christmas
