Many of the points mentioned sum up perfectly how I feel at the moment.

The wife has tested positive so I have to cook Christmas dinner for the first time ever!

I’m so sorry you won’t be able to go out and visit all the family.

Pisser innit. She’s gutted mind. The timing is shocking.

Shite timing that, hopefully it’ll pass her by without her being ill.

So true.
Sainsbury's delivered me a short dated turkey which I handed back for a refund.
I went to Trostre's M&S and was blown away with all the Turkey.....some are boneless!!!!!

Plus Tesco are selling veg at amazingly low prices.....2.5kg bag of white potatoes at 39p!!!!!

Thanks Dicky, good read. Dont think many realise how much all this is affecting people.

Yes, a helpful article Dicky. I think the bit about connecting with people is spot on. It only takes a little investment in making conversation with complete strangers, and before you know it you are giving and receiving therapy! Take care.

Hope she’s ok, ECB. I know she’s a big C recoverer. Fingers crossed.

We’ve both recently recovered from it and we heard this morning that our 11 year old grandson is positive so no family Christmas for the second year running. On top of our dog dying a week ago it’s been a lousy week.
