The Swans played Rochdale at the Vetch.
I remember this day very well.
It was blowing a gale and chucking it down. Got soaked going to the venue.
My mate was telling me that everything would be ok. Reached the centre of Swansea and made a dash for it. We were probably the first two there. Then the crowd turned up, after a while of the meeting and greeting, it began.From the back of the crowd this noise started up and a girl and her dad started walking down to the front. Straight towards me! I turned around and wow, she looked absolutely stunning, took my breath away.
Then the priest said “Welcome everyone, to the marriage of Mr. Mute and Miss H.
One of the best days of my life. Still together and just as happy.
What we guys do for our women eh.
Swans won 3-0 to make it even better.
