You c*nts don’t know how lucky you are to have me.

You was very lucky Dazzer, the injuries you suffered though were shocking, you've done very well to have recovered as well as you have, the love and support of a good woman has helped god bless her.

That’s the nicest thing you’ve ever said to me.

Ex British Steel / Corus / Tata myself , now retired , but worked at plants where fatalities occured .

It was and still is an industry with potential life changing incidents waiting round the corner for the workforce , improvements are being made , alas too late for some who have , and still do suffer from injuries sustained in this enviroment , thankfully I got out unscathed .

35 years ago , not a great anniversary to remember . Stay safe in them places guys .

How long was you in Neath Gen for?

3 months.

Surprised at that, thought they would have shipped you out to a more modern / specialist hospital.

Neath Gen was a fantastic hospital mind, should never have demolished it.

Well actually I was in Neath for 5 and they transferred me to Chepstow for 2 then back to Neath for another 5.
The following year i was in Chepstow for another 3 months.

My brother had his hernia done in Neath. I realise that’s not quite the same thing.
