• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

We always get humped after beating them so I’m not expecting much tonight. It’s hard to come down after all that emotion in a few days and do it all again, and this bunch are a far tougher proposition.

Should be a few linkies around, then, yeah?

Hope so, can’t make it tonight.

I'd more or less made my mind up that I can't really do midweek evenings games any more but I really fancied this one, especially after Sunday's euphoria, but yesterday I came down with a heavy cold and the last thing I wanted at my age was a 3 1/2 hour round trip through the rain when I feel like shit and wouldn't get into bed until midnight.

So, a good stream, a hot Lemsip and an early night sounds a lot more enticing! 👍

Hamer, Bennett, Cabango, Naughton, Bidwell, Laird, Downes, Grimes, Paterson, Smith, Piroe

Only change is Cabango coming in for Manning with us managing his injury that forced his withdrawal from international duty. No arguments with that side except I would have liked Ntcham to be in from the get go for Smith, but it is pretty tough to change a winning side that spanked your derby rivals 3-0 in such a convincing fashion

I posted something a couple of days ago about Ntcham starting instead of Smith so we're more on the front foot but I think this is maybe not the right opposition and RM was always likely to be a bit more cautious. Ntcham must surely start against Peterborough next week though.

I know Naughty's been playing as a sort of sweeper lately but he's a right fullback by trade so I hope RM is not putting Ben C out on the right like he did against Fulham because that didn't end well. Tbh, it didn't start well either. And the bit in between left a lot to be desired.

I’m struggling to see what Smith gives us in this system. Maybe tonight will be more his game if WBA push us back. He seemed lost on Sunday mind.

What's the weather like there Mikey? Pissing down here on the Somerset Levels 😩☔☔☔😩

Sunny and 24C, been walking round in shorts and sandals today. Supposed to be 28C tomorrow, when I'm having 2.5 cubic metres of wood dropped on the drive for me to shift and stack! Heavy rain forecast for Friday though, typical, its my walking football day.
