And I was there ! Always remember the Valencia fans behind the goal didn’t come out initially ( I think ) for the start of the 2nd half as a protest against the owners.
And after the game walking back to the city centre, with our Swans shirts on, their fans were applauding us. What a night !

Yep I was there.

Flew in to Barcelona . One night there.

Rental car. Long drive. 2 nights in Valencia.

Their fans and locals so friendly.

Outside stadium before kick off , a few hundred Swans fans singing for an hour or two.

The locals watching and filming and have to say enjoying. It was a great atmosphere.

I had a top with Chico on the back. ( no longer fits).

A wonderful city. An even better match and result.

Would love another European adventure. Can’t beat it.

If the chance ever comes again to follow the Swans abroad, take it. Do not hesitate. The memory will last a lifetime.

Before I go to bed.

Bony
Michu
DeGuzman

What a squad.

We were spoilt in fairness. Never say never , but could it happen again?

Can only dream. COYS.

Yes, you were right about the protest.

After the game. me and my mate, sadly no longer with us, were waiting to cross a street alongside a few Valencia fans and a couple of them who spoke really good English started chatting to us and were very complimentary about the team's performance and were enjoying the fans' exemplary behaviour which made us feel so proud of he club we had become. Brilliant night and my favourite away trip by miles - in fact, just over 800 miles! And I have a framed 10x8 on my wall of that photo in the original post that I took of the scoreboard just after de Guz's incredible free kick for our 3rd. 🩷🩷🩷
