Should we now have doubts about if he has really been injured or has he used it as an excuse.

When he came off playing for NI it looked a tactical decision, as he ran off, certainly didn't look as though he was carrying an injury.

I may be wrong but it looks a bit suss to me. ( Other opinions are available & valid ),
That sounds a stretch too far me in all honesty. We have medical staff who would do checks on him to see if he is actually injured.

Im not sure the club would be so nice about it if he was faking it aswell. Matos would have definitely said somehting in his press conference or some sort of statement would have been made.

Perhaps the club knew he wasn't injured, but it was used as a reason in the public eye to pacify the supporters on the end of season run in. Who knows eh!

I'm just praying that both sides put their egos aside and accept they both are in the wrong and hopefully they can both see how easy this situation is to fix.

Galbraith is an unbelievable player one of the best we have and will see here for a while and I still dont think we have seen the best of him yet in a Swansea shirt. A full season in midfield and then he can get his move next summer.

Matos wouldn't say a thing, he doesn't want to upset the player.
Either way, it's all about now and the discussions they are having. We haven't don't that bad without him.

He is a top player, I would expect top championship teams and a few premier league teams will be interested. If a wishes to move on then we are well stocked in Central Midfield and we concentrate on getting the best deal we can from it.

Reference Galbraith's injury ,
Speaking to a Physio friend depends on the severity of the injury .
A calf muscle injury can be ,

Grade 1 (mild ) 1 - 3 weeks
Grade 2 (moderate 4 - 8 weeks
Grade 3 (severe / tear ) 3 - 6 months

Having played so many games this season I'm not surprised he picked up an injury .
Hopefully he has the summer off not selected for the national teams 2 friendlies
ready for next season .

Most people that have seen him play this season have agreed he's a fantastic player and a great prospect, so why would the club offer him a ridiculous pay rise, having just sorted out a decent one for Vipotnik. If the club have offered him a measly increase then they are wholly to blame for the situation and wouldn't blame him one bit if he decided on looking elsewhere to play his football.

All this because someone is giving their instagram account a refresh 🤪
Yes agree if you change anything on Social Media these days as a professional footballer it's seen by some the new way of:love: handing a transfer request.

I tore my calf muscle last year - a physio was there when I did it, said it was a grade 1 (but this was a grade 1 tear), crutches for 10 days, then no running around for a month or two. Even though I may think I'm an athlete, I'm not  Plus, I didn't any professional rehab like Galbraith would have.

You need to man up Steve.

Just had a text to say he's been spotted in a Greggs by Everton's new stadium. 👀

Innit. I've no idea how someone even remembers what a player has in their bio, and then notices as soon as it changes 😂
I can't keep up with family members changing theirs, let alone a player who has just played a handful of games in the championship.
