After over 60 odd years of following football , in 99.9 % of sackings or changes its reported "no bad feelings" or leaving with best wishes and a place in my heart.
just saying like.

I much prefer it this way. I want my club to be respectful to players, coaches and staff who leave. Even if it ultimately he was not good enough, he is a Swansea fan who would have tried his best to make us better. Like with Sheehan, the least we can do is not brief against him in the press and let him go with some dignity. Being petty or trying to shape a narrative in the media against people leaving, smacks of insecurity to me.

Well let's hope that things are left as they are and we don't read anything else other than possibly a club statement. Anything else other than just a club statement will just be a narrative and not really needed and won't change anything.
Leave those battles to forum posters 😂

Being nice suits both parties, who would want to join a club that runs a former employee down, and who would want to hire someone that a previous employer runs down?

its the way of the world....for some.

edit
Unless of course you are , or was employed by Donald

I think he has been an improvement in what we have seen since relegation and given us a good platform, we are in spitting distance of top 10.
Genuinely think Idah, Galbraith, Stamenic and Widell will earn the club a chunky profit and we still don’t know what we have with Inoussa and Walta.
His next role will be interesting and what level he goes on to.
But hes gone. The main point of interest should be our next season. Who knows what the new team will bring through the door. Time will tell .

I agree that going into this summer we have a much stronger foundation in the squad than we have had for a few good summers.
It always felt that going into a summer where we have seen a Manager leave or even left during that season that we have always had to rebuild as such.
Recruitment has been poor for a long old time so an half decent one last summer was likely over played due to the previous ones being so bad.
I continually had "discussions" about rebuilding and was continually told that rebuilding was just an excuse.....it's funny how rebuilding had become a thing after I was told I was wrong and it was excuses.

I think like everything, it's what suits.

Going forward, I have confidence in the ownership group. It looks like a DOF or similar will now come in and over see this department(along with others) that has seen Adam Worth leave.
Funny that(AGAIN) after I was told I was wrong on a previous discussion regarding what a new DOF will be required to do.
