• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Every year for the last 16 years, my mother-in-law has come over to us for Christmas Day. This year, we are going to do something differently: we're leaving her in.

I got my wife to call the mother in law and explain that we’ve been struck down with the shits. Whilst she was on the phone I was stood behind her making fart noises with a bicycle pump, whilst my kids emptied tins of vegetable soup into a bucket.

That's taking the extreme to the next level :ROFLMAO:

Pooperman?

We got the our two lads here, we had staff here earlier for us to pop to Swansea Market etc, My Brother got his family at his home, so it's only us here for Christmas, we are meeting up with Brother and his family next week, my Dads Brother who turned 99 a few weeks back is in hospital recovering from an operation after a nasty fall at home, with my Cousin and his good lady Wife in attendance with him.
Long gone are the good old days of Christmas sadly.

During the Covid lockdown, if you had family round on Christmas Day, police could force entry to your home and make them go home.

Does anyone know if this is service is still available, and if you have to book?
It must be awfully cramped in your caravan.
