• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Yes. Hopefully sometime soon, the law will change that favours public opinion. There’s been so many wasted lives, be it drink drivers, young men having a race and crashing and killing a family, There was no intent to hurt anyone, but they were doing 80 plus on the wrong side of the road. 😞

Yes like this you mean?
The prick in Liverpool had more than these two cunts put together and he didn’t kill anyone.

I think it’s that crash in Glais, I was thinking of when I made that post.

As far as the Liverpool case is concerned, I don’t think he is safe to be ever around the public, for someone to mow down that many people, without the slightest hint of drink or drugs, is very concerning.

After reading a little bit more about the case recently, my thoughts are he needs to be put in a Mental Hospital. How can a prison rehabilitate a total nutcase like that?

I kind of agree with that last part, the thing is if he lives long enough he’ll be driving into his 70’s which is bonkers.

It's a minor miracle this nasty bit of work didn't kill anyone.

If he hadn't received the sentence he did the likes of Darran would be moaning the sentence was too lenient.

I'm grateful the likes of this man won't be roaming the streets for the foreseeable future.

Yeah, At this moment he is 54, his earliest release time, his age will be 68, Then he has a 3 year ban on his licence, which means he could start driving from the age of 71. Realistically, I can't see him ever driving again.

No, Insurance firms would touch him, and even if they did according to google AI, it would be around 10-15 grand a year.

And what the fuck would be wrong with moaning that the sentence was too lenient if it was too lenient then?
And if he’s out after 14 years it is too fucking lenient.

Fair point my friend.

Well the problem is he’s not doing 21 years.
That’s a fair point.
The 21 year sentence is in my opinion decent, but as you say with tariffs reductions etc he’ll like.y end up serving much less.

The judge told him in the sentencing that he’ll serve two thirds of the sentence.

I honestly don’t get it when a judge basically says “I’m sentencing you to 21 years but don’t take it too harshly because you can come out after 14.”

The statement is bizarre in itself.

It’s standard. The sentence is still the full lot. The other third is under licence. Not free to do as you wish.
