• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Dimis clearing his desk then. I was under the impression that recruitment wasnt the issue. I keep reading that we have a top 10 squad. Why sack th emanager if the recruitment is the problem.

It’s all set up for a Celtic reconnection what with O’Dea here and now the appointment of Celtic’s head of recruitment.
Welcome back Brendan!

We’re surely not going to embark on an uncontrolled experiment.

One of the reasons Rogers walked away was because the recruitment at Celtic was so bad last summer.

It would be very strange to tear everything up again unless something has gone very wrong behind the scenes. The new coach is a big test for the summer's recruitment and should showcase if the players have more to offer. It looks like this new man will be in quite a senior role based on the position he held at Celtic so can support for Worth, who may be overawed by being thrust into such a big role so early in his career. The January window will be here before we know it so hopefully the plans in place did not revolve entirely around Sheehan and the new guy approves of them so there is not another rupture and wasted window.

“Worth, who may be overawed by being thrust into such a big role so early in his career. ”

That made me laugh.

Where is this guy going to fit in then? Is he Worths boss? Working for Worth? Or alongside Worth?

This will be the replacement for Montagues guy who was sacked. Surely every club has a head scout.
