• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

When Sheehan Goes... Do we go for an unknown international manager, who is unproven in the league but could be seen as a risk, but pays off big time or proven championship manager or dare I say league one?

Bring in new manager, he or she gets sacked, bring in new manager, rinse and repeat. It's the Swansea way.👍

That's every club to be fair unless you are maybe Man City or Liverpool. Not advocating for change all the time but I think we need to see the club appoint a manager that they want. One that is in their vision and direction. And we can judge that. Past is the past.

No argument from me, I think we have to temper our expectations. To answer your OP I have no bloody clue.😁👍

Someone who is relentlessly positive, plays attacking football - and is prepared to lose in pursuit of victory!
I would certainly take defeat if the team went out and looked like they wanted to create and score goals.
I think modern managers seem to over complicate football and this data shit has a lot to answer for.

As Cloughie used to say, get it to the fat guy on the wing and let him play.

I don't blame him.
How does he deal with about 300 recommendations for signings every window?
He wouldn't.

I am relentless for improvement hence why I wouldn't take a pay cut to be manager of Swansea City 😉
