• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

PPM for electric vehicles?

This woman thinks charging 3p per mile tax on electric vehicles is a good idea. Electric car sales have already slowed by a substantial amount over the last 12 months, she's about to kill off 90% of what potential sales there might be. Crazy!
The average petrol car in the UK does just north of 13 miles per litre.

Fuel duty is 53p per litre (58p if the 5ppl discount is removed in March).

That’s a cost of 4p per mile at present, 4.5p if the discount is removed.

So there’ll still be a saving in an EV.

Another non answer to the question posed.
What would you like me to say? We both know Labour have been an absolute disaster in Wales and have taken the population for granted because the majority of them can't see past the red rosette.

Not sure that's the point.

I didn’t ask what your view of Welsh Labour is. I asked if the kind of “sheep pattern” voting you alluded to only happens in Wales.

Out of every pound that we earn, how much is actually left when we've finished paying tax on absolutely everything.

Income tax, council tax, road tax, VAT, the list goes on and on.
Someone wiser than me once said that the UK population expect Scandinavian level public services while paying American level taxes.

As far as I know, not really done that much research in to it.

Do they? I'd settle for a more competent government to get a grip and stick to the promises they made while chasing the public vote during the GE.

I guess the Labour apologist will always make excuses.
