• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Xu just started on BBC2. A break down already. Just needs to enjoy the experience at her age.

Big win for fellow Brit Sonay Kartal over Ostaapenko earlier. And a potential huge shock brewing on Centre where Alcaraz has been taken to a fifth set by Fognini.

All about the experience for her. She’ll,only get better. I hope she doesn’t fold second set and relaxes a bit to hit her shots if the match does slip away.

Raducanu is such a brittle player.. just need Mimi to find some consistency and put her under pressure

Dimi was quite right about Radacanu wasn’t he. I remember him having quite the ding dong (normal for him) about in his opinion she won’t get anywhere near her tournament win again, and will just fall away. Not a fan of tennis myself, and she is still young (I think) so maybe has time on her side.

Seen enough to think this kid has something about her. Mental toughness is there. Could turn into a very good player.

Raducanu is not finding it as easy as she should do. (Ignoring the smoke being blown up her arse by the commentators). Last couple of games have been close.

She’s only 22 and has just gone back into the top 50 after a nightmare year.

She had a run where she was relaxed, smiling and everything she hit turned to gold. Then after winning the major it got too serious too soon. Add in the injuries and it’s hard to see her rising again. She should just have fun again.

Great game from Mimi
