• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

What’s more concerning is neither the Trust or the DSA have criticised this particular decision

Almost as if they don’t want to have their boardroom privileges taken away

Swansea City, non inclusive

Aye thats the point I made last week
Those in a position of privilege within the club have the responsibility to speak up for the fans they represent

I will admit that I don't know just how influential a position the DSA have.
Do they have a place on the board in the same way as the trust?

I don’t think so but as you’ve said the Trust do.
I find it incredible that employees of the club are going ahead with it too.

A researcher called Kimberley from BBC News contacted me recently about a documentary they were looking into about access to music venues after seeing my tweet about The Globe in Cardiff that puts on quite high profile gigs with no access at all.
When I said to her that “if it was men only or white people only it would make News At Ten but when it’s able bodied people only nobody gives a damn” she seemed a bit wary of me and she said she would be getting back to me but she hasn’t.

I’m not surprised if you said that to her. There are far better and more constructive ways to make your very valid point without resorting to that.

You went to see Ghost recently and if it had said on the ticket no entry to bald twats with glasses you might begin to understand.

Is there anywhere you can’t go then?
Ok. I see where this is coming from. It’s disappointing but it is what it is. Have a nice evening.

Tell you one thing mind how the fuck music venues get a licence for able bodied people only is staggering.
I know for several and a few in Swanse.
