• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

How not to run a club and a real time demonstration of what awful recruitment and no style can do.
I thought we were on this path to be honest.
I’m sure they’ll be back with a bang in a year or two.

If I was them I’d go into administration and take the 10 point deduction next year, making the assumption I’d still get enough to avoid relegation and waiting until at least the next year to try to get promoted.

They have too much debt for League 1 with a disinterested owner.

They could then sell the club out of admin and start again.

Extremely risky strategy.

They've come down with a whimper. Despite the claims of people like Ramsey and AveATomato, their squad is pitiful, and it's about to get worse, at least numbers-wise, with several out of contract. I doubt Ramsey is going to hang about, not if he still has designs on playing for Wales.

Couple all that with a disinterested owner, administration would be a recipe for disaster.

If I was them (fans I mean) I'd keep schtum and don't poke the beast, he'll probably do the bare minimum to keep the lights on. Then just hope whatever scraps they have left can get to 50 points as quickly as they can.

What you mean their squad is pitiful, its better than ours.

According to a poster on Anus's site anyway :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Their fans are convinced they will bounce back because they are a big club.

If ever there was a time for reality and humility it's now. Ramsey saying they have players to challenge for the top too.

They'll never learn.

They'll never learn.

And it's this bit which is their biggest issue.

They keep walking into the path of oncoming traffic, but think that as long as they put a few bandages and plasters on afterwards it makes it all ok.

Until they have the humility to accept they're a bit rubbish, and quit with their superiority complex, they will continue to struggle.

Bristol is their true rival.. capital club, massive fanbase, FA Cup holders, iconic.. this is what they keep regurgitating trying to make everything come true.. oddest club in the world

Bristol City they didn't sell out
Massive fan base, they don't fill half their ground
Capital club.. currently the 3rd tier club and 3rd in Wales..
Won the FA Cup 100 years ago
Iconic in the minds of the terminally stupid

They really are the oddest fans about
I live in Bristol and they don’t care about them at all. It makes sense when you think Bristol is much bigger, much more vibrant and has hundreds of years of history.
