• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

So signed three good players, while being seriously close to breaking FFP rules, but it was an absolute disaster. Fair enough.

I have sympathy with Andy Coleman aswell with the breakdown of some deals late, it's hard to persuade players to come here when we were languishing in 18th or whatever it was and our manager publicly hawking himself out as soon as he smelt a few more quid. Coleman's biggest mistake was not sacking him after the Pompey loss imo.

I have zero sympathy with Coleman. He backed Watson who would probably still be here if it wasn't for an alleged non job scandal.

Then during this last window he left things tick along until the last 2 days of the window when he apparently realised that the staff he was meant to be overseeing hadn't done their jobs. Where was he until then?

The bloke was a clown from that stupid tweet denying staff left when everyone knew they had at the very beginning to the end.

I've got faith we'll be in a better shape come next season, and they've only just got their feet under table, but it's hard to defend the lack of comms etc. Just seems non existent at the moment.
Lets hope that faith is well placed but I don't have it I'm afraid

Got my confirmation email - I'm in.

Annoyingly, my car is in the garage and might not be repaired in time for me to make the trip from Cardiff, but my fingers are crossed

For anyone who wants a read of what’s going on at the forum

O ye of little faith.....the future's very bright, jump on board

And we need to get fans fanatical again, and supporting our Club's best endeavors.

Surely the job of Fans Forums is to do just that......

Fair enough, the jury is still out for me, hopefully the new regime will turn things around 🙏
I’m just happy there’s a chain of command and a plan.
It may not work but I don’t like it when someone leaves and we’re all thinking “who’s actually left at the club apart from Cyril and Kev Johns?”

There wasn't too much questioned on the commercial side of things.

E.g.

Are anyone interested in the naming rights of the stadium apart from an in-house Swansea.com

Also is the club better or worse off with the Ospreys leaving

I'm currently on the train back from the forum, and Gorringe is directly opposite me. Anyone has a question, speak now or forever hold your silence
