• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Where's West Birmingham City? New club on me.
Blame the image not me mate :ROFLMAO:

Believe it's somewhere between Hawthorns and Blackpool but I've heard Luke is trying to get the managers job there

And according to that journo who reported it, Coleman pulled the deal for the sporting director last minute after all had seemingly been agreed, has he learnt them last minute pull tricks from Jason and Steve?

I have a horrible feeling about all of this. What worries me is, the club is clearly worried about having to pay off Williams if goes, be that in installments. And it effecting The P&S restriction. The point being, the chances of Williams staying for another 2 and half years is slim to non. But will they hold off on getting rid. Sadly it will be too late.

If Williams is still in charge two and a half years from now, Profit and Sustainability will be the least of our worries, same goes for that blithering idiot Coleman...

Football manager contracts should have clear KPI's where the club is protected from abject failure. Maybe they are with pay offs having a scalable figure but seems ridiculous to be in a position where we pay up LW contract when he leaves.

Exsactly. Sometimes you need to take the hit and spend and look to the future. Problem you have, the wealthy business people are not normal people. Money talks. But they are not looking at bigger picture. Only what is in front of them.

If we go down, whats the odds there wont be a club for him to manage here in 2 1/2 years?

Does Coleman go to every home match? Any one notice him there?

These new American owners of ours.

Anyone heard them say, or mention anything about us since the pumped all thier millions into us?

One of them paid for a new roof on a chappel somewhere in mid Wales because his grandma was born there

Another owns the tallest hotel in the world.

Impressive.

God Bless America 🇺🇸
