The thing that's always baffled me about the Martin fans, and you can see it to a certain extent with the way some talk about Williams, is how often they claim that "he's a nice guy", or "he gets us, he really does".

Nothing he ever said or did gave me the impression that he wasn't an egotistical, thin skinned pillock willing to chuck anyone under the bus in order to further himself, or use people to leak stories designed to make him look better and the club worse.
