• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Got in the Pilot around 3:15 supped a few light ales, then picked up a few Curries from Zafran Skewen around 6:45 came home ate the food Mrs had her G&T, I had a couple more light ales no snow about although I did see a light dusting of snow over the roof of our vehicles about an hour ago and that's about it, its pouring down here now and I'm off to bed, nighty night all.:D

Hope you've stocked up on the Gower Gold Max? Just in case like 👍

Apart from walking the dog, who won’t really care either way anyway to be honest, I’ve no intention of leaving the house tomorrow so bring in the white stuff.

Why anybody pays any attention to the weather charlatans is beyond me. The goons really do not have a clue,,Swansea snow, yeah ok, it's rain, multiple times incorrect,,

Absolute bloody tossers, they get it so wrong, it's ridiculous, and the wankas even make a special slot about it.. ha ha

I may as well walk out the garden tomorrow, sniff the air and say it's going to rain.. Ha Ha

It’s going to be 12°C on Sunday so any snow tonight won’t be around for long.

These forecasters have not got a scooby. It's really starting to pee me off, giving advice don't do this or do that. Some people may have put off intended journeys based on the weather predictions, it's a bloody joke mate.

Sorry, Just a little rant Coops, I hate the mainstream weather reporting, they really pee me off, They never know what they are talking about.. GITS

The forecast for Swansea today was always rain.
Incorrect, Heavy snow was forecast on Apple weather, flurries and snow was forecast on Accu Weather, basically all the news agencies said we would get battered by snow,

You’re right in that Apple weather showed snow, but it didn’t state heavy snow. It simply had a snow icon from 4pm to 7pm with rain either side and an ever increasing temperature from mid evening onwards.

I’m no Michael Fish, but I can tell you with certainty that Swansea residents won’t wake up to snow on Sunday morning.
