• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Bizarre mate. Even as a backup striker...
Exactly, imo for a goalscorer he would have been worth the gamble, I’m sure we could have easily done the deal maybe we have someone bigger lined up? McBurnie?

Mc Burnie is waiting on Sheffield Utd to offer him a contract.

Can't see us offering wages of 20k +

Apparently he’s been down Stoke this week for talks as well, if we offer him a bigger sign on fee he may accept less wages.

If McBurnie hadn't played for us in the past this wouldn't even be a discussion.

We are aiming for higher profile strikers or younger players with a higher ceiling.

Considering that we arguably need two forwards now with Lowe gone and Yates gone, 750k if true for Langstaff would be an excellent price considering the price bandied about a fortnight or so ago was double that.

A lot were creaming over Max Watters and moaning when he went to Scumerama. As said, Williams knows him, so can only assume he’s gash, especially going to Miwaw.
