• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I remember being impressed with him in the one game where he got any meaningful game time, quick and direct and could put excellent balls into the box. Decision making was good, he didn't often take the wrong option when in a promising position

Haha why did we bother making go to Bournemouth tonight? His face when Lissah came on said it all.
Bit of a piss take, doesn’t send a good image for players coming here he’s been treated badly imo.

Free or permanent?

Why the fuck get rid of the Toe then?

I’ll guess a minimal fee as he’s out of contract in the summer, unless we’ve done a player plus cash deal for Charles.

Shipping out before we get in as per usual.
It makes sense but if they fail to get players in then the squad becomes weaker.
Will never forget the Gylfi situation.....no players lined up until the money was in the bank.

We have a whole host of players over the past few years that we invested in and then decided that we didn't need to play them

And yet we keep doing it...

But various managers have done and are being allowed to do it.

From Joel Asoro-Gykores-Whittaker and so on.

The club needs a shake up....starting from the top.

That bit we know but the only way the shake up from the top happens is a sale of the club

And there isn't going to be a queue of people trying to buy it off this lot - said it before they were trying to sell 3 years (ish) ago and failing miserably.

What happened to Morris and Cravatt? What is their input ?

They need to bring in people who are invested and have a history of what we are as a club.
As you say, owners are going nowhere until someone buys them out and that doesn't seem to be an option at the moment, if does happen then it's a high chance it will be another foreign group.

The big and starting question is, who do they bring in underneath them with that feeling and knowledge to create that feel going down the line.
