I thought when he scored that hattrick in the Cup game (Plymouth?) that he'd start to figure more in league games but it didn't happen. And I agree that he's got far more about him than Cullen.

It seemed strange that we've basically relied on Pato and Piroe all season up front and Whittaker hasn't had a look in at all. Definitely thought after the cameo in the league cup that we'd see a bit more of him this season.

I can't quite understand how we've managed him. He was playing or Derby so I thought he'd be more involved from the off, not sitting on the bench in his first season while Dhanda was getting game time. All a bit odd. You'd have thought he'd be a decent option for one of Martin's preferred 2 advanced midfielder roles. At least as a backup, and certainly no worse than Cullen in that role.
