Always makes me festive hearing what fellow PS posters have planned for the "big day".
I know this year is so very different for the obvious but I wish you all a tasty Xmas👍🦃

F*ck all now Dick by the look of it. Had booked the Celtic Manor but that's gone tits up now (taking 45 days to return our cash that they've had since early November too, the cowboys). If I'm lucky it'll be an M&S nutroast with a hefty dash of chilli oil applied by me. And sprouts. Love sprouts. But no parsnips. Horrible bastards, can fool you by looking like spuds and then....f*cking YUCK. Hate parsnips.

Call Uplands Diner and order Christmas dinner, they'll deliver them hot or cold on Christmas Eve.

I thought he’d closed until next year!

Sorry to hear that Monny. Bloody sign of the times!
On a side note my annual visit to Waitrose in Monmouth went by the wayside as our annual trip to Newark (which also has a Waitrose) was off due to them being in tier 3.
Parsnips are like the curate's egg for me. When good they are very, very good.....but when bad they are cunts

As has been the case for a few years now the job of cooking Xmas dinner is mine so its Turkey and all the trimmings. Naturally much quieter this year but looking forward to it.

Waitrose in Caldicot has closed now :( Wife works nearby and they often used to have very good deals there as no one could afford their normal prices and there was an ASDA right next door.

No idea what we are having. Not turkey, ideally.

I will pop to a supermarket on Tuesday or Wednesday and see what they have. Failing that I will knock a curry together

The uncertainty is quite nice.
