I think it's seen as general football supporter clobber rather than anything Cardiff related. Certainly in my eyes anyway.
Don't see anything weird about a Swans fan wearing it if they choose to, in the same way as I wouldn't think it weird for a Cardiff fan to drink Au Vodka if that's their thing.

The quality of some of their clothing is easily as good as if not better than the modern day SI or CP. The older SI and CP stuff was a higher standard mind.
