Genuine UFO sightings definitely occur, absolutely no doubt whatsoever, because of all those military UFO reporting's and there have even been quite a few instances involving mass-sightings also.

I do not think there has ever been an up-close-and-personal definitive sighting/proof showing a UFO in all its full glory either whilst landed, stationary-hovering or flying within extremely close distance to a witness source.

That aside? It's intriguing because many witnesses are the last people you could ever label as cranks, fantasists, liars or nutjobs, because their 'rigorous selection criteria/training/indoctrination/task-objectives' require them to be highly professional, to be of sound mind, to have supreme observational skills and senses i.e. to coin a military term to be "switched on" aware at all times. Not many village idiots flying F-16's?

The fascination with this subject is imo absolutely justifiable.
