• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I caught up with episodes 4, 5 and 6 today. Episode four was a bit naff and I almost chucked in the towel, Mrs told me to persevere with it so I powered through five and enjoyed most of six. Still far too much crying and theatricals though. Might stay with series three until the end, but unlikely to be going back to one and two.

Not sure what others think. I personally enjoyed season two more than the current one on TV.

Thought the participants were more entertaining.

Well that was an an enjoyable series

A bit too much of a forced hand with the introduction of the 'seer', but it changed things up

The first 5 episodes of the US series are on Iplayer now, they fill theirs with reality show 'professionals' so it's a different vibe, if you don't like loud and dramatic Americans then it definitely isn’t for you

I did stick with it until the end. Was always playing catch up with the episodes, and only saw 10 and 11 whilst on the train on Friday afternoon. Didn’t get many spoilers along the way, thankfully. An 8 out of 10 overall, could be made better by a little less time on the challenges and a bit more viewing of the mind games that goes on. There must be some huge choreography going on behind the scenes which we don’t comprehend. Won’t be going backwards to any old series, but will probably watch the UK series 4. If it happens.

What I enjoyed about the series is we watched it as a family, something we very rarely do.

That’s great, It’s safe family viewing and gets the kids to put their phones down for an hour. Since going back to work after Christmas I haven’t been home on a Wednesday or Thursday night, hence me always playing catch up.
