I am already completely base over apex paranoid about picking up Lyme's Disease from a tick.

If I am wearing shorts and walk thorough long grass I will check myself religiously afterwards.

They make my skin crawl.

...and now they are carrying another sodding disease....

An Italian ex-colleague of mine got one on his ball-bag after staying in a Swindon hotel.

After a business meeting in Southampton, I had to take him to Salisbury hospital to get treated.

When I was a kid I was bitten on the hand by a horse fly at Weobly Castle. Really hurt and was itchy for weeks. Nasty bar stewards

I just used a match to burn mine off, then applied germolene

I’ve had all the symptoms in that BBC article for the last 5 years. 🤔

Yeah but what did you do about the tick?

Jimmy Walker the US golfer caught Lyme's disease.
It took a while for him to recover. Very debilitating.

My father in law had it about 20 years ago, took them ages to diagnose it because none of the doctors had ever come across it before. He was quite unwell for several months.
